the value of medical care provided amounts to over $195,000 between January and December 2023 based on the ‘CompareMaine’ “average” price of physician visits (new and ongoing) in our catchment area. According to their website, CompareMaine was developed by the Maine Health Data Organization (MHDO) and the Maine Quality Forum (MQF) and is maintained under contracts with Human Services Research Institute, NORC, and the University of Southern Maine.
