Our Donors

from the Ellsworth American
Grant from Bangor Savings Bangor Savings Foundation presentation and the generous $5,000 gift. This gift will allow us to put the money where it is most needed and to support the primary care needs of our vulnerable population. There are only five free clinics in the entire state of Maine and we are the most northern and easternmost, all the others are in central and southern Maine. Â
Your generous support helps us to continue to assist families, friends and neighbors to receive excellent medical primary care, referrals to specialists, and access to a prescription assistance program.  Additionally, because of grants we received in the past, we have a robust dental program and have activated both social work and mental health counseling outreach programs. We exist due to the generosity of individual donors, foundations and other grants. We do not bill for our services.
In 2022, we have seen 736 patient visits accounting for over $185,460 in value of the medical care provided.  Our volunteers have committed  over 1200 hours in 2022.  We have assisted patients receive free pharmaceuticals valued at an annualized cost of over $95,016.82  In terms of population served, we are seeing patients traveling from 8 of the 16 counties in Maine. Â
Your support enables us to work toward continuing to providing our primary health services to the uninsured and underinsured. Thank you and the Bangor Savings Foundation for placing your trust in us to continue to do this essential work.
